It's so sus there are whole dedicated teams on it needing you to unlock bootloader and reflash partitions to possibly get the phone ready to even just starting to root it...

While at the same time there's a public exploit doing it in a minute without even touching the bootloader or reflashing anything...

It seems that, once again, we've successfully made it harder for the device owners in name of security, while the bad seeds don't even need to bother with it. Just like 2FA...
