I usually try to keep up with the new airing animes, and it seems to be the same each season, the popular ones are what everyone's talking about and there are so many gems that are completely ignored. Like yeah, the popular shows are great but can someone also give attention to the other banger shows?
Like in the newest season of anime (Spring 2026) one show that is getting overlooked by a lot of the international audience is Nippon Sangoku. It seems to be doing really well in Japan, which I'm happy about because that means we'll get a second season, most likely...but international fans are kinda missing out on Nippon Sangoku.
If you're interested in a refreshing artstyle, smart characters, politics and military strategy etc. then this show is definitely worth checking out!
