so what i like to do in this kinda situation is. decide that one tiny accessory means everything i want (in your case, the gender thing), wear that accessory, know it's there, secretly supporting you. And feel good about it. Like an earring or a bracelet. You dont have to tell anyone about the meaning of it but you will know. Of course this solution may not fit your particular situation. But thought id weigh in
