The laws and regulations behind this are so fucking slow. At this rate, when AI has finished destroying our world we might finally have our first law that just barely acknowledges the harm that generative AI can do. Its so lame and it angers me every moment I spend thinkibg about it.

Also, as for what measures the creator of Cara took, im pretty sure they tried to blacklist popular web crawlers from accessing their site. Im sure they did other things too but obviously it wasnt enough.
