I actually donβt think itβs the audience. Iβve watched it both on Disney+ and in person twice. Once with alright seats and once with really good ones.
There is something about the audience and feeling a part of them and feeling their emotions, but honestly I think the field of view when sitting in a theatre is what really does it justice.
Cameras and camera angles force your vision down a particular path and it feels a bit forced.
In person you can see something happening everywhere on stage. More talent than you could possibly take in.
Also, I preferred the actors in the showing in London. The American actors werenβt really doing it for me.
