I've just thought of a site idea. I typically learn about some global events through memes on social media so I don't know their context at first. So, what if someone made a place where you could read about some trendy things. And then I realised: I REINVENTED THE NEWS™

continuing on Frankenstein:
ch ||
since childhood he liked ancient philosophers. he went into a university in Switzerland to 'get out of his comfort zone'(parents formulated it accordingly to their time but the meaning was same). His professor told that ideas of greek and latin scientists were bullshit. The author liked his first lecture on chemistry and later asked for some cool modern books.

thoughts of the way science is going. Victor thinks scientist should advance their knowledge even through some questionable means. So he thought of himself as capable of creating life itself or at least inquiring into its nature. He decided to animate a 8' monster.

surprisingly I understand (almost) everything in the text! Don't get me wrong, I know english fairly well as a second language. The novel is written not so long ago(1818). The speech is notably different from today. Yet despite all this, I am reading it with relative ease

When I was making my profile picture I couldn't find the right one. The ascii arts were either too big & detailed or too small & simple. Eventually I had come across https://dribbble.com/shots/14677-cole-as-ascii-art . However Cole barely couldn't fit so I started adjusting it and changed it more and more. i think it might be my first ascii picture, which is still heavily inspired by someone's work

post scriptum: for this post I tried making another drawing of Cole. Really good that I don't need to come up with a name for him. I guess I'll add the dog now and then in my messages

i'm reading Frankenstein atm. i've come to the 2nd chapter (which is like 32/257 pages) and there isn't an idea of any monsters or electricity experiments. The prologue about sailing to the north pole disguised as personal letters was more interesting (maybe i should read Moby Dick lol) than the 1st ch cuz it's just the boring childhood, typical for his times, of the main character. will keep u up to date ¬EOM
