#vent trigger warning: suicide, parental abuse
whenever i talk about my mom, it always feels like i'm a teenage white boy who says slurs over an Xbox mic, and taking her for granted, but i always remember that:
- she frequents cheated and physically abused her ex-husband (not my dad)
- verbally and physically abused all her children
- berated and belittled me at my mental lowest possible point, takes ALL credit for "raising such a good daughter" at my best
- told me "you dont need to sit in a room for an hour, you need a job" when i wanted to go to therapy before i started working (which ended up with me cursing and screaming at my boss and coworkers)
- blatantly told me all my interests were stupid or weird
- is racist, transphobic, and all around a huge bigot and very desperately wants to express that over facebook but "she's being censored"
i always hated mother's day.
